About Us
It all began with an idea (and a cry for help)
For years, the vision for NeuroClean sat at the back of my mind—a vague idea, a “what if,” a service I wished existed but wasn’t sure how to create. It wasn’t just about cleaning. It was about the struggle—the executive dysfunction that makes starting feel impossible, the sensory overwhelm that turns certain products or sounds into unbearable obstacles, the crushing weight of burnout that leaves dishes piled up and laundry untouched.
I knew I wasn’t alone. I’d seen it in online communities, in neurodivergent support groups, in conversations with friends who said the same thing: "I need help, but I don’t know where to start." "I want to clean, but my brain won’t let me." "I tried hiring a cleaner, but they didn’t understand."
It has taken years to shape this business into what it is today. Years of learning, listening, and refining the vision of what NeuroClean could truly offer. Because this isn’t just another cleaning company - it’s a support system. It’s cleaning, reimagined for the people who need it most.
A Service Built for You
Most traditional cleaning companies operate in a way that just doesn’t work for neurodivergent and disabled clients. They follow rigid routines, expect homes to be “ready” for cleaning, and often don’t understand the unique struggles that come with executive dysfunction, chronic pain, or sensory overload. I wanted NeuroClean to be different.
✔ Judgement-Free Cleaning – We don’t believe in shame. No matter how messy your home feels, no matter how long it’s been, we are here to help, not to judge.
✔ Sensory-Friendly & Customisable – We use sweeping instead of vacuuming wherever possible, unscented or hypoallergenic products, and adapt our cleaning methods to fit your needs. If certain smells, sounds, or textures overwhelm you, we adjust - simple as that.
✔ Executive Function & Decluttering Support – Cleaning isn’t just about scrubbing and wiping; sometimes, it’s about decision-making, organisation, and breaking through mental roadblocks. We can help you structure tasks, create manageable systems, and work with you - not just for you.
✔ Flexible & Adaptive – Need us to take breaks? Work at a slower pace? Follow a specific order of tasks? We’re happy to adjust. Our goal is to make cleaning easier, not harder for you.
✔ Trained in Neurodiversity & Disability Awareness – We aren’t just cleaners; we’re support workers who clean. We understand sensory sensitivities, energy fluctuations, and the mental barriers that can come with household tasks.
A Business Years in the Making
This business has been years in the making, and I built it with the understanding that cleaning isn’t just about tidiness—it’s about emotional wellbeing.
For so many of us, the state of our home reflects the state of our mind. A messy, overwhelming space can lead to guilt, stress, and a sense of failure. But when cleaning feels impossible, the mess builds up, and the cycle continues. NeuroClean exists to break that cycle.
We are here to provide more than just a service - we’re here to offer relief, reassurance, and a fresh start.
Whether you need:
🟢 Routine maintenance cleaning to stay on top of things
🟢 Deep cleaning & decluttering after burnout or overwhelm
🟢 A structured, step-by-step system to help with executive dysfunction
🟢 A sensory-friendly, understanding approach tailored to your needs
…we’re here to help.

Yes, we bring high-quality, neurodivergent-friendly cleaning products by default.
